The Sigma A00531 46mm Normal Rear UV Filter is designed to be used individually within the Sigma A00090 Rear Filter Holder and is a general use, clear filter that is intended to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. In addition to the reduction of unwanted blue casts, no additional coloration or contrast is created, and adjustments to exposure are not required while using this filter.
To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes multiple layers of anti-reflection coating. This filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity as well as color fidelity and features an aluminum-alloy filter ring for durability while remaining lightweight.
