This lens can be used for the scientific applications such as the vegetation distribution of the rain forest canopy, the solid angle measurements of distribution of clouds over the sky, etc. due to the quantifiable angle/area relationship it produces. Sigma EX DG 8mm F3.5 Fisheye Lens incorporates Special-low Dispersion glass (SLD) to get purified images free of aberrations. In addition, Super integrated lens coatings enhance better light transmission for brighter, high contrast and glare free images.
Sigma EX DG 8mm F3.5 Fisheye Lens can be used for close-up photography effectively with maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.6. A Gelatin holder is structured at the rear end of the lens so that Gelatin filter can be attached. Sigma EX DG 8mm F3.5 Fisheye Lens provides firm support even during long period of observation. Auto-focus mechanism along with manual system ensure ultra-fast, quiet operations specially while travelling. Fast moving objects can be comfortably viewed with less fatigue
