Sigma AML72-01 Close-Up Lens is a lightweight, compact and very easy to attach and remove lens. It is designed for Sigma 18-300mm DC Macro HSM contemporary lens. It increase the maximum magnification from 1:3 to 1:2. This close-up lens mounts to the original lens' 72mm front filter threads and increases the magnification ratio to benefit macro shooting applications. It features an apochromatic design and maintains the original lens' quality throughout the zoom range from 80mm to 300mm focal length positions. It is ideal to use for macro shooting applications and general photography

Note: When in use, the minimum focusing distance of 15.4", and 5.5" working distance, is retained
