The innovative Sky-Watcher Explorer 130PDS Dual Speed Parabolic Reflector
Telescope incorporates the superb mirror-set as the Explorer-130P Black Diamond
Series, but with two significant advantages. A Dual-Speed 10:1 ratio focuser is
now included for outstanding focusing precision. Also the tube length has been
slightly shortened to optimise performance for prime-focus photography. Of
course the system is diffraction-limited and has a parabolic main mirror. It is
a perfect transportable astrophoto-telescope. The new 2" focuser offers precise
focusing ability for tack-sharp astro photos. The mechanical stiffness is very
good. Even cameras with 2kgs of weight are held solidly. Even better performance
for astro-photography and visual use can be achieved when used in combination
with Sky-Watcher’s Newtonian coma corrector.
