Slik SH-704 compact 3-way pan Head comes with many key features that satisfy the user in all circumstances. The Head is three way facilitating you to move the head in three different directions. Now you will not need to place your Tripod on different locations for different shots. You just need to move the head of the tripod to the required position.
The Head has a separate pan and tilt handle for smooth operation of the
Head.
The Head incorporates separate locks for both tilt, pan and movement from
horizontal to vertical camera position. The handles are covered with rubber
grips for reliable handling.
The Head is all-metal aluminium made with black finish and a bubble level. The
bubble level is helpful when you need to take vertically aligned pictures. The Head is supplied with a quick release plate, which make it easy for you to
locate the camera on the Head easily.

I purchased this as a replacement because the one on my Slik Tripod which I ve only had for about 18 months had snapped - not sure how as I do not recall dropping it or knocking it on anything. I m hoping it wasn t due to poor quality casting/manufacturing as I bought the tripod inc original head for it s lightness because I can no longer carry heavier tripods on long walks.
Microglobe s price was the lowest online and the item was despatched very promptly - thank you. I m certainly happy to recommend Microglobe and I like this pan head s lightness and ease of use great with my camcorder especially but will have to wait and see whether this new one lasts any longer than the one it s replaced.
