The optical system incorporates Low Dispersion (LD) lens which are constructed using special glass materials. LD lens results in brighter and sharp images free of chromatic aberration. Tamron AF LD Di 70-300 mm lenses are coated with new Internal Surface Coatings applied on all glass surfaces which reduces the glare and ghosting.
