Customer Reviews on Velbon CXMINI, CX-Mini Tripod
Review by DANNY J DAVIS, 10/04/2008, Customer Rating:

I Use this CX Mini Tripod As an alternative to a Hide Clamp For Birdwatching. I am Very Happy with the CX Mini I have used very expensive scopes with Costly Hide Clamps and the CX Mini Compares Very Well.
So long as you adjust it correctly it is Very Stable and rigid (the built in spreader helps a lot here). You still get a bit of wobble when someone is walking around in the hide but this is just the same with the Hide Clamps all you need to do is leave all the legs folded up and rest the mini on the Hide Bench hold the base of the mini with one hand (to avoid accidents) and move the head with the other so in summary it is a very good piece of kit and at around 20 Quid I would Highly Recommend it
