The legs of Velbon GEO E-440L tripod are constructed from the composition of carbon fibre and basalt. This construction makes it lightweight but strong as any other aluminium alloy tripod. The outer surface of the each leg has twisting design that assists you in easy and fast expansion of legs. The printed scale on the tripod legs is helpful in easy height adjustment. The printed points are at a distance of 2.5 and 5 cm.

Velbon GEO E440L carbon fibre tripod legs are integrated with quick release leg lock. Each leg tip is enclosed with in dual axis rubber and spiked feet. A best feature of the geo series tripod is the lever release locking system that facilitates a user to adjust the head height quickly. The tripod can be used as a grounder by removing one section of the centre column and expanding the legs to its low angle.
