This eyepiece works in combination with microscope objectives to further magnify the intermediate image so that specimen details can be observed. The 10x magnification gives you ten times closer view of specimen. This eyepiece includes a pointer which is used to point at objects or features in the center of the field of view. It is mostly useful for teaching purposes.
