What really this filter helps in? While having this filter in lines of Calcium it helps in capturing those parts of Sun while lies between the photosphere (which is observed with standard white-light filters) and chromosphere (mainly emitting H-alpha α) It displays the faculae’s whole surface and surrounded groups and networks of it.
