Baader 1ľinch f/2 Highspeed-Filter O III with LPFC-mounted is a single filter which is made specifically for the sensitive requirements of exceptionally fast astrograph optics, such as Hyperstar and RASA. Because of the strong center wavelength shift, an ordinary narrowband filters generate a heavy loss in transmission. Despite the typical line broadening with such fast optical trains, this filter is still able to produce peak contrast. This filter permits the effective use of tremendously fast optics for maximum contrast imaging of emission nebulae for the first time. By using this Baader filter when imaging between f/1.8 and f/3.5 shows a major improvement as compare to any regular set of narrowband filters. Baaderís Anti-reflective coating technology, ľ Wave fineoptical polish, Ionbeam hardened coatings and fully sealed coating edges for long life, and low-profile cells. The Baader highspeed narrowband filters have a CWL preshift which matches f/2 to to f/3.5 and the FWHM is also optimized.
