Baader CCD RGB Filter Set (Beginners) 31.7mm is three color filter set which is ideal for beginners who are just starting out with imaging. Baader filters are truly designed to be stacked and combined due to the high optical quality and highly efficient anti-reflection multi-coatings. Each substrate is fine-optically polished plane parallel to deliver a smooth and accurate 1/4 wavefront over the entire surface.

Baader’s Anti-reflective coating technology, ¼ Wave fineoptical polish, Ionbeam hardened coatings and fully sealed coating edges for long life. Baader's special filter cell design offers unique features that enhance their reliability and usability. The ultra-thin filter cell results in the maximum possible clear aperture in order to minimize vignetting.

The special threading has been designed to fit a wide variety of eyepieces and accessories. The front 'crown' of the filter incorporates milled notches which make handling and threading the filter a more secure operation in the dark. Baader filters have always been halo and ghost free. Baader balances each dielectric coating stack to avoid the ghosts and annoying halos.
