The Baader M48 Fine-Adjustment Aluminium Rings Set prevents binding between two M48 threaded parts. It comes in 0.3mm (black), 0.5mm (red), 1mm (gold) thickness. This ring fits between all M48 threads, equals 0.3mm (2/5), 0.5mm (2/3) respectively 1mm (1 1/3) turn of rotation. The rotation of these rings may differ slightly. It’s thin enough for finetuning in M48 eyepiece projection.
