The Baader Stronghold Tangent Assembly: It was developed by Baader Planetarium and can be used for safe, stable attachment and precise adjustment of various astronomical equipment on top of the main astronomical telescope. Plus it can also be used for terrestrial applications. The equipments can range from light finder scopes and guider scopes to heavy telephoto lenses.
The Stronghold Tangent Assembly is very compact but with a stiff two-dimensional head with micro adjustments and can hold a max load of up to 7 kg

- Allow user to safely & firmly mount and fine-tune auxilliary optics ranging from lightweight finder scopes to massive guiding telescopes
- Also can be mounted to the larger Losmandy by using an adapter #2450316 not included
- Has a stainless-steel locking dowel is fastened in a spring-loaded bracket inside the azimuth blocks
- Featuring four exterior locking screws serve to adjust it, by means of loosening one screw and counter locking the opposite one
