Barr and Stroud Series-6 FMC 8X42 ED Waterproof Binoculars: The attractive and stylish Roof prism binocular that is well suited for medium range observation. Constructed with durable material to with stand against rough handling and rubber armoring protects from shocks and harsh environmental conditions. The binocular incorporated high performance Bak-4 prisms that produce sharp images with extra high resolution and high quality ED (Extra Low Despersion ) glass to control over chromatic aberration.

The large size objective lens, phase corrective Dielectric coatings and fully multicoated optics delivers brighter and high contrast images. The binocular offers appreciable flat field of view with extremely low distortion. The binocular is best choice for travelers, naturalist, bird watchers and other out door activities. A large smooth central focusing knob facilitates quick focusing.

Twist up eye cups with multiple click stops and diopter adjustment complemented with large eye relief facilitates viewing with glass and non glass wearers.The lenses are coated with water repellent HydoGuard coating to be clean from moisture. The binocular is tripod mountable for comfort long session observations.The FMC 8x42 is water proof and is not effected with water when immersed up to 1.5m in water.

Ordered these binoculars and received them very promptly. Unfortunately they didn t meet my requirements so I arranged a replacement for them which was dealt with efficiently received those promptly too.
Overall good service.
