Bushnell HuntTrack GPS Compass is a lightweight and durable device that is s
a handheld navigation device designed for hunters, hikers and anyone needing
help to find their way. Once activate the stored location the HuntTrack then
helping you maintain the correct heading and displaying the distance to your
location. A self-calibrating digital compass continuously uses the incoming GPS
signal to optimize compass accuracy, even while standing still.
HuntTrack also uses an array of integrated sensors to provide environmental data
like temperature, air pressure and altitude. Another function of the HuntTrack
include a sunrise/sunset and moon phase display, as well as an Animal Activity
graph with 12-hour history and forecast. The HuntTrack internal memory can log
up to 48 hours of trip data and up to 25 waypoint locations.
The built-in temperature and barometric pressure sensors are useful tools for
determining elevation change, dramatic weather changes, and optimal hunting
times. The water-resistant device housing is rubberized around its outer edge
and on its buttons for enhanced grip. A built-in USB port enables uploading of
stored data to Mac and Windows operating systems.
