This B+W 72mm +4 Close Up SC NL 4 for 72mm lens front filter threads features macro like results. This lens decreases the focal length of camera lens to produce a close up magnification of your subject. This helps in minimisation of focus distance between the subject and the camera lens. By combining the close up filter, camera lens and decreasing the distance between the subject, a magnificent magnification is obtained. This close up lens has a diopter strength of +4. Diopter strengths of +5, +3, +2, and +1 are also available. Diopter strength expresses the magnification power of this close up lenses. The more higher the dioptre the more relative the magnification you get. This trick can be done by adding other close up lenses as well. This B+W filter avoid internal reflections, both sides of this filter glass contains one layer of anti reflection coating on the surface of the glass. In order to increase the optical clarity of the image, these filters are constructed from Schott glass. Featuring an F Pro brass filter ring helps in jamming prevention and increases durability. With a high degree of curvature this filter has no front threads. For combination of this filter with other filters or camera lenses you need to screw it onto the very top of any stacked close up filters and camera lens.
