The Canon Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter EF-EOS R comes with a Drop-In Circular Polarizing Filter A which is the best way to use a polarizer in conjunction with an adapted lens. This polarizer filter A is permanently installed within a drop-in holder and has an integrated wheel for adjusting the rotation position. This rotation also helps change the polarization effect.

The circular polarizing filter is useful for blocking reflections and glare and enhances overall colour and tonal saturation by filtering out polarized light (light due to reflection from a non-metallic surface). It also helps to lessen haze in distant landscapes and increase apparent contrast.
