Optimized lens coatings have also been applied to ensure color fidelity by countering the effects of lens flare and ghosting.

I bought this lens for wildlife shots but it s also excellent for portraits - very sharp pictures and good bokeh. It works very well. The price I paid for this lens was less than I found elsewhere by some considerable margin -The service from Microglobe was excellent. They were waiting for stock and sent me an email when it arrived. I ordered it that day and it came by post the next day.
