The Celestron 0.7x Focal Reducer Lens for EdgeHD 925 OTAs is designed specially for Celestrons 9.5 inch EdgeHD optical tube assembly. Speeding up the focal ratio from f/10 to f/7.1 while reducing exceedingly the exposure. The reduction by the 0.7x Focal Reducer Lens helps in the same results with much wider field of view. High index optical elements, including low dispersion, Lanthanum element provides a high contrast viewing. The field performance of the EdgeHD is kept by the use of 4-elements lens system made out of Lanthaum glass consisting of anti-reflective fully multi-coated glass with blacked edges for anti internal reflection. The reducer will directly attach to the back of the EdgeHD OTA.
There is no need to buy a new gear as the OTA works the same for cameras and compatible accessories. The glass of this reducer features multiple layers of coating which aims for max light transmission. To avoided vignetting a 60mm clear aperture is improved for large full-frame sensor.
