The 15mm Omni Plossl Eyepiece from Celestron is designed for comfortable near and deep-space astronomical observation. It has 4-lens symmetrical Plossl design that accepts 1.25" Celestron thread-in filters. It is an excellent value eyepiece for those looking to expand their eyepiece collection on a budget. Celestron 15mm eye piece is ideal to view lunar and planetary objects in detail. The eye piece offers optimum performance because of its four element premium symmetrical plossl design. The lens surfaces are multi-layer coated to maximize light transmission and contrast. The eye piece goes through a two-step anodizing process to prevent reflection from the top eyepiece barrel.

This eyepiece has a field of view of 52 and an outstanding eye relief of 13mm. The long eye relief and fold-down rubber eyecups provide comfort for spectacles wears. Rubberized grips offer better grip of the eye piece. Each eyepiece has blackened edges to maximize contrast and decrease internal reflections. The eye piece offers 52° wider field of view for comfortable and convenient observation. Over all, the eye piece is a little investment that adds up a great value.
