Celestron boxed together this 2" Eyepiece and Filter Kit for Schmidt-Cassegrain and refractor-style telescopes to give users the essentials for planetary observation. All of the accessories are made to fit and accept larger 2" accessories.
This kit includes three Plossl eyepieces that provide a wide range of magnifications on any given telescope, five of the most popular colored planetary filters to enhance the views, and a 2x Barlow lens which essential doubles the magnification of any eyepiece used with it. Also it includes a 90° star diagonal that puts the user's head in a comfortable viewing position when the scope is aimed high in the sky.
The diagonal is outfitted with a standard Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) visual-back thread for easy direct-connection, plus an adapter to allow its use on refractor-style focuser drawtubes. A hard aluminum carrying case protects the accessories while custom die-cut foam on the inside cushions them.

#25 Red:
- Blocks the transmission of blue and green wavelengths
- Sharply defines the contrast between the cloud formations and the lighter-toned surface features on Jupiter
- Useful for definition of the Martian polar ice caps and maria
#21 Orange:
- Reduces transmission of blue and green wavelengths
- Increases the contrast between these blue/green areas and red/yellow/orange areas
- Sharpens the boundaries between these areas on the Martian surface

- Slightly increases surface details on Saturn
#12 Deep Yellow:
- Enhances red and orange features on Jupiter and Saturn, while blocking blue and green wavelengths

contrast between the two - Enhances the blue clouds in the Martian atmosphere
Barlow Lens

Diagonal
