For optimum performance it features anti-reflection fully multi-coated layes on all optics and with phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms. A wide apparent angle of view not only presents an immersive observational experience to complement the impressive performance, it also allows you to take in sweeping vistas without having to move your head very much—making it ideal for everyone from stalking hunters to sports fans watching a game on a large playing field.
Additional features like a long eye relief (17.8mm) and wide exit pupil improve viewing comfort while reducing eyestrain, so long glassing sessions are more pleasurable.
Engineered to stand up to a lifetime of outdoor use, its chassis is made of a lightweight and durable polycarbonate that is also corrosion resistant to make it ideal for boaters. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to make them waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditions.
Celestron includes tethered front and rear lens caps to add an additional layer of protection in the field, with the ability to quickly react to glassing opportunities without fear of losing the caps. For those long days use in the field, the Nature DX ED can be tripod mounted using an optional adapter for vibration-free viewing.
