The portable dual-purpose Celestron AstroMaster 70EQ Refractor Telescope is an evolutionary terrace for observing the Moon and the Planets. When aligned as required, it can easily track planets using the slo-mo cables with smooth vibrations. The whole assembly and break down of the AstroMaster 70 EQ needs no tool, so the set up is simple and fast. The 70EQ telescope comes with two eyepieces which have medium and low magnifications. To correct the images its 90-degree diagonal eyepiece has an integrated erecting prism which also allows the scope to be used as a spotting scope. The light grasp capability of the AstroMaster is 100 times that of the sharpest human eye and its 10 times resolution this combination gives out the best sky view along with the 2 included eyepieces.
The EQ refers to the equatorial mount which is something that you are going to want if you want to use this telescope for looking at the Moon and other Planets. When the OTA is pointed at the zenith, the users head is helped to be placed in a much comfortable positing by the usage of its diagonal positioning. The optical tube and the mount is also firmly supported by the stainless steel (adjustable height) tripod. It also comes with a tripod tray to support your accessories and hold your tripod in place while reducing shakes. The reason that these low-cost refractor telescopes are recommended as opposed to the reflector is that most people want their first beginner telescope to give them more delightful views of the Planets like Saturn's rings, Jupiter and some of its Moon views without having to drive far from the city. An optional tracking motor is also recommended which automatically track the fed targets as they move.
