The compact and highly-portable Celestron Maksutov-Cassegrain C90 Mak Spotting Scope is a powerful spotting scope with a Maksutov-Cassegrain optical path, a 32mm eyepiece, and an erect-image 45° diagonal that also corrects the view laterally.
Designed for both terrestrial and astronomical use. The C90 Mak is a high power telescope with Maksutov-Cassegrain optics for high resolution, high contrast views. The long 1,250mm focal length and 90mm aperture provides a useful 39x magnification when used with the supplied 32mm eyepiece and can be used with other 1.25\" fitting eyepieces to achieve magnifications up to 180x. The Vixen-type dovetail includes a photo-thread so can be used with a regular photo tripod.
The C90 Mak comes with an erect image 8x21 finder scope that provides a wider FOV to aid the viewer in locating subjects and targets easily. The finder scope mounts easily to the side of the C90\'s OTA and it removes easily for storage and transport.
Celestron C90 Mak Spotting Scope has an internal flip mirror design which allows the user to view celestial objects at a 90 degree angle and also corrects the image orientation to view land objects at a 45 degree angle. The full-featured C90 Mak is also rubber covered and completely waterproof. Celestron C90 Mak Spotting Scope features durable black rubber armour for protection, a flip up lens cap for safety, and it comes complete inside its own soft sided carrying case.
