The DÖRR Friend IV is an inexpensive entry-level tripod for all hobby photographers & hobby filmmakers who occasionally need a tripod. The aluminum tripod is suitable for use with small SLR cameras, system cameras and camcorders. Thanks to its 3-way tripod head, the Friend IV tripod can also be used with binoculars or a small spotting scope.
3-WAY TRIPOD HEAD
The 3-way tripod head is equipped with a guide handle that allows you to rotate and tilt the head comfortably and smoothly. The quick-release plate with 1/4" camera thread can be folded upwards to quickly and easily switch from landscape to portrait orientation. For a camera replacement, the quick-release plate can be quickly released with a locking latch. A second or replacement quick-change plate is optionally available.
COLUMN
The center column of the Friend IV tripod can be variably extended and retracted with a hand crank. The fixable center struts ensure a stable and secure stand. For even more stability, an additional weight can be hung on the hook below the center column.
TRIPOD LEGS
The tripod legs can be adjusted to the desired height with 2 pull-outs. The practical clip closures can be quickly loosened and fixed with just one hand. The movable rubber feet ensure a non-slip stand on smooth floors. The tripod legs and the center column made of aluminum come in noble, matt titanium color.
LEVEL
The Friend IV tripod is equipped with two spirit levels that help you to align the tripod optimally. One spirit level is located on the tripod base, the second on the tripod head.
HANDLE AND POCKET
On the go, the Friend IV tripod can be worn comfortably on the integrated handle. The supplied tripod bag with carrying strap is used for dust-free storage or safe transport.
