The Gitzo MK2 Mountaineer Carbon Fibre Tripod
is the latest one in the Mountaineer Carbon Fibre Tripod Series. This tripod
features a high maximum load capacity. On the other hand, it is a lightweight
tripod.
Gitzo MK2 Mountaineer Carbon Fibre Tripod is designed specially for travel
photographers that can hold either Digital or Film Cameras easily. The legs are
constructed from anodized aluminium material that adds stability, enabling the
tripod for supporting heavy load.
The closed length of the tripod is 18 inch where as the legs extends to attain
maximum height of 47.6 inches. The 3-section legs has grey and black finish. The
top section of the Gitzo MK2 Mountaineer Carbon Fibre Tripod's leg has
0.75 inch diameter. To protect the indoor surfaces from scratches the leg tip is
covered with rubber.
