"82" series colour corrective filters are light balancing filters used to
increase the colour temperature for a cooler (bluer) tone. They correct the
tendency toward reddish tones and come in several strengths, A, B, & C, with A
being the mildest effect.
Returns skintones to natural when shot in early morning or late afternoon light.
Used for 'cool' mood.
General:
These filters offer both amateur and professional photographers Hoya's famous
quality at reasonable prices. They have coatings applied to both surfaces to
suppress reflection and increase light transmission. There are a few exceptions
in the special effects range which, due to the special materials used in
construction, do not have coatings applied.
