Hoya 77mm UX CIR-PL (PHL) Filter: It comes now in a completely new packaging as entry class filter together with the new UX Series. It blocks UV reflections and glare by filtering the polarised light and reflections and controls reflections on non-metallic surfaces. The polarised sunlight UV light is blocked which causes blue haze in general sunny day. Due to these filtrations your photos become more saturated, bright, crisp and clear. The actual difference between circular polarising and polarising filter is that it features quarter wave plane along with linear plane polarising plane. This extra feature helps in polarising the leaner polarised light which is greatly useful got exposure and auto-focus functions.

This 77mm UX Circular Polarising filter is made from a special optical glass for clarity and has a tin aluminium alloy filter ring that can be rotated to adjust the intensity of polarization. To further prevent ghosting and reflections, eight multi-layers of anti-reflective coatings are applied. All of these coatings further help to prevent unwanted minor scratches as well. It also features threads on the edges the filter to allow additional filter attachments
