Hoya UV(C) HMC 72mm Digital Multicoated Filter is a lightweight and durable filter which is ideal to use for digital and conventional photography that is specially designed for digital cameras but also can use for film cameras. This filter is designed with very thin frame to be used with wide angle lenses. The filter blocks the ultraviolet rays that makes photos hazy and indistinct and deliver astounding sharpness and clarity without affecting colour balance. The Multi coating is applied on filter element so that it ensures maximum light transmission and reduces reflection from the surface. The Hoya UV filter is supportive when photographing mountain and naval scenes where increased haze threatens to make photographs unclear in colour and clarity. For digital photography If desired it can be left on the lens at all times for protection Haze filters provide additional benefits of correction for Ultraviolet(UV) light which can register on film and videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details Ultraviolet filters allow you to correct for the UV effect to varying degrees.
