The Kenko KDT60 6x Telephoto Conversion Lens is a compact monocular that allows the user to bring in subjects 6 times closer than the zoom of a digital camera. The Kenko KDT60 6x Telephoto Conversion Lens uses all glass optics, a metal lens barrel and metal filter threads. The Kenko KDT60 6x Telephoto Conversion Lens is designed to screw directly into the 28 mm Nikon Coolpix filter treads. Once in place, the LCD display on the camera should be used for accurate picture framing and focusing. The Kenko KDT60 6x Telephoto Conversion Lens has an excellent close focus capability of 30 cm (11.81 inches) and at that distance an area of 1 cm by 1.5 cm (0.4 by 0.6 inches) will fill the LCD display of a Nikon 900 series digital camera.
Because of the high magnification, the likelihood of "Camera Shake" effecting picture quality is greatly increased. Kenko recommends using the camera on a tripod and using the built-in self timer or a cable release when photographing with the Kenko KDT60 6x Telephoto Conversion Lens.
