Perfectly adequate binoculars for the price. The focus is adjusted by rotating each eye piece individually - there is no single central focus control - which means altering the focus takes two adjustments. I presume this is a design feature to minimise construction costs or to allow waterproofing. In practice the depth of field is sufficient so they do not need to be frequently refocused.
The lens prisms are well aligned with excellent contrast and are almost completely free of vignetting. There is a small curl of stray plastic visible in one eyepiece which ought to have been picked up by a factory inspector. This is a minor nuisance but again these optics are made to a price.
The compass is well damped and illuminated although the batteries were not included and the "manual" is not helpful about type and fitting. There is a small error of about 7 degrees from my local magnetic north.
Good value for their price.
