The Vegas ED 10x50 Monocular from Levenhuk is a high-class monocular that is designed to withstand the rigours of outdoor use. They prevent optical aberrations to deliver true colour and high contrasted images. It is ideal for observing nature, studying urban landscapes, and to watch sports events from a distance. It has many features which make it different from other monoculars. First is the ED glass that eliminates parasitic halos (that appear in the edges of the images because of light refraction peculiarities). Secondly, the chromatic aberrations eliminate across the entire field of view. The 50mm objective lens enables more light to enter the lens resulting in more bright images even in dim lighting conditions.

The optics focus on any objects located at a distance of 2m or farther, which allows for observing even indoors. The monocular is nitrogen-filled (a colourless gas) that is resistant to internal fogging. Abrupt temperature changes do not result in optics' fogging, which is why this monocular is unaffected by observations held in extreme weather conditions. This monocular is waterproof (falling in water for a short time) to withstand harsh weather. Hermetically sealed shell securely protects the optics and mechanical parts from water penetration. The monocular can be attached to a tripod for a steady view.
