Thanks to the ED glass (Extra-low dispersion glass), phase-correction-coated roof prisms and dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coating adopted in the Nikon MONARCH 7 series, the binoculars deliver superbly bright, natural colour images with chromatic aberration compensation and superior transmittance as well as the unprecedented wider apparent field of view.

The Nikon 10X42 Monarch 7 ED WP binoculars have high-eyepoint design for a clear field of view even for eyeglass wearers, turn-and-slide rubber eyecups with multi-click facilitate easy positioning of eyes at the correct eyepoint and the scratch-resistant coating applied to the outside surfaces of objective and eyepiece lenses protecting them from scratches and dirt. Thanks to the O-ring seals and nitrogen gas purged construction, the Nikon 10X42 Monarch 7 ED WP binoculars are and fog-free and waterproof up to 1m/3.3 ft. for 10 minutes.     Very pleased with these binoculars. Only criticism is that they are rather heavy but that is offset by the clarity of the binoculars especially for watching small birds. Re delivery service? - Excellent living on an island off the west coast of Scotland delivery can be patchy to say the least but this time it was first class!

    The Monarch 7s are exceptional and would suggest that anyone thinking of buying high end binoculars try these first and save £1000.

    Bought these after extensive reading and careful consideration. Truly excellent binoculars - lightweight beautifully built comfortably ergonomic and an outstandingly clear and detailed view. Microglobe were admirably courteous and delivery was near-instantaneous. Satisfied customer.
