The story of nikon's new launchings is not ended as yet and Nikon has continued to offer some excellent lenses. Nikon has announced new VR enabled lens the Nikon 16-85mm ED VR f3.5-5.6g AF-S DX Lens. It is a compact design lightweight lens with the great potential to take wide-angle to medium telephoto zoom shots. Nikon 16-85mm VR lens is highly desirable for landscape photography, interiors, and portraitures. The lens is designed for high performance with Nikon DX format digital S.L.R's. Nikon 16-85mm lens has Nikon' original "Vibration Reduction" (VRII) image-stablisation function, which compensate for camera shake, with a shooting speed equals to 4 shutter, resulting superior sharp and high contrast images. The lens is equipped with two E.D. (Extra Low Dispersion) and three aspherical lens elements for natural colour balance and absolute sharpness by reducing chromatic and other types of aberrations. Nikon 16-85mm Lens has superior AF function, equipped with Silent Wave Motor, ensures fast, soft and quiet autofocus. The lens has super integrated coating for treatment of flare and ghost, a known SLR problem.

Great lens! I didn't regret the investment in these lens, it has a very good image quality and the VR really works, making you able of nice low light pictures without flash.
