Customer Reviews on Nikon 16x50 Action Extreme EX Waterproof Binocular£209.00
Binoculars just arrived from Microglobe a few days ago and I am very pleased with them . The 16 x 50 are not heavy to hold and are well finished and look great. After a small time adjusting the lens to my eyes instruction booklet is very good on this I tried them out. Was amazed at the images I was getting the detail and clarity . Looked down a country road about a mile away at road signs and was astonished ! These are well worth the money can t comment on waterproof qualities and don t intend to use them in very wet conditions . Using a tripod or stand would eliminate shake but I got better at holding them steady by hand after about 15 mins and get nice steady images . Found Microglobe great to deal with awaiting delivery of a pair of Nikon Monarch 5 from Microglobe.
Excellent binoculars super for long distance and very good at short range for bird watching. I don t find them difficult to hold for viewings but would possibly use a tripod for longer continued use for boat and sea spotting.
Would recommend them for distance and short viewings.
Very pleased with my recent purchase very good quality nice and comfortable to handle and very easy to to focus and set up have only used them a couple of times do far not had a chance to see if they really are waterproof. I m not an expert but wanted to buy a pair of binos from a reputable manufacturer I already own the D5200 Camera I carried out some research didn t want to spend mega bucks at this stage the prices were very varied. I use them mainly for spotting planes and helicopters was able see both pilots in an Apache recently whilst landing.
I would certain only recommend these binoculars.

I have just purchased (on the 22/05/2011) a pair of 16x50 action extreme binoculars they seem to be very well built as for being waterproof I would not know yet as I have not been in the conditions to get them wet. I like the lens covers as they can be fixed to the neck strap, very smooth adjusting action. not exactly light weight but thats what you get with this sort of magnification, which by the way is very clear through out the focal range, so far no complaints.
