Nikon 18x70 Astroluxe-XL Binocular are both durable and reliable, Nikon 18 x 70 Astroluxe-XL Binocular are completely metal constructed and O-ring sealed nitrogen filled tubes for waterproof, shockproof and fogproof performance, and a sole "pebbled" surface to make available ergonomic viewing. Each of the three models make use top of the line, coma-corrected lenses and Nikon's exclusive Special Purpose (SP) glass for flare-free pin point image clearness.

 

The glass used in Nikon 18x70 Astroluxe-XL Binocular is particularly ground and refined to get rid of surface aberrations and present crisp, clear resolution and the highest promising light transmission. Nikon 18x70mm Astroluxe-XL Binocular lenses and prisms are coated with multiple layers of Nikon's proprietary anti-reflective lens coatings to get better light transmission, improve colour rendition, and provide flare-free viewing. In each binocular, the power is designed to complement a large objective lens transporting the ideal balance of resolution and generous exit pupil. 

The 18x70 Astroluxe XL are 12" x 9.2" and weigh 69.8 ounces. A 161' field of view at 1,000 yards and a 3.9mm exit pupil give the Nikon 18x70 Astroluxe-XL Binocular a strong blend of light transmission and resolution. All three models are tripod adaptable for steady, detailed observation.
