Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm F1.8G Special Edition Lens : The Nikon NIKKOR Lens is a fast prime lens designed to excel at its bright f/1.8 maximum aperture. The lens produce edge to edge clear and sharp photos and videos and offers a blend between a standard lens and a medium telephoto, offering a natural perspective with a slight exaggeration of depth of field. Lightweight and stylish design integrates enhanced knurling on the focus ring to add a functional and aesthetic element that complement refined manual focusing control. The aspherical element contributes to high image sharpness while also minimizing chromatic aberrations and distortions. This allows it to be used in low-light situations by maintaining edge-to-edge sharpness and even lighting at all apertures. The lens is specially designed to combat the distortion of shooting photos or video in low light— especially at night while providing even brightness across the frame. The 50mm lens features an aperture range from f/1.8 to f/16 and a rounded 7-blade diaphragm for producing pleasing out-of-focus elements. The lens incorporated a Silent Wave Motor for quick, quiet autofocusing and Manual/Auto mode for fast switching between auto and manual focus. Additionally, this lens has a 45 cm minimum focusing distance and a 58mm filter thread. It uses Nikon's F mount for compatibility across Nikon's entire range of FX and DX-format DSLR cameras. Also, when used with DX-format cameras it provides a 35mm equivalent focal length of 75mm, ideal for portraits. The filter accepts screw on type filters that are having 58mm thread size. The filter is light in weight and can easily be transported to any location.
