Nikon MB-D11 Multi Power Battery Pack: Nikon MB-D11 Multi Power Battery Pack is durable and reliable battery pack which is designed for digital camera and compatible with Nikon D7000 camera. The design of a battery grip offers a comfortable and secure way in which to hold your DSLR, especially in the vertical position.

And the MB-D11 features an alternate shutter release button, AE/AF lock button, multi-selector and dual command dials to facilitate shooting when held vertically. When it is drained, it can be removed and recharged while you can continue shooting with other battery. It can utilize 6 AA batteries and comes with the battery holder that slides into the battery grip.

This battery pack offers both enhanced handling capabilities as well as extended battery while shooting. The design of the grip improves shooting in the vertical orientation and also provides an overall more ergonomic structure for holding the camera. The MB-D11 is constructed with anti-slip rubber grip to further improve handling, a tripod socket to mount your camera directly to a tripod.     Excellent grip! I very much like the fact it is an add-on grip that doesn't require taking the battery door off - therefore one can change easily between gripped and not when on location if necessary. I quite often shove it in my bag, empty, just in case I find myself doing a lot of portrait shots. (The EN-EL15 battery lasts so long that it is rare to need a spare). Really helps balance with heavier lenses and/or flashes.

    Multi-selector a little better than the one on the D7000 since one can use it as a mini-joystick. Control wheels a little heavier, and shutter a little "mushier" than the camera one. The grip material is a little different to the camera, but if anything better; it does mean that it is somewhat mis-matched in appearance, though. The one real downsides to this grip are the price and the fact that it doesn't boost FPS!
