Nikon SD-800 Extra Battery Holder for SB-800 Flashgun is a lightweight, compact, reliable and multi-functional battery pack which is compatible for Nikon SB-800 AF speedlight flashgun. The Nikon SD-800 extra battery holder is used to greatly increase the number of flash firings of the SB-800 Speedlights, and also shortens the recycling time. It has a total capacity to hold 5 AA batteries. By adding fifth battery shorten recycle time to as little to as little as 2.9 seconds on full power manual. The batteries must be in place in the flash in order to operate.

Very usefull when you use 1.2V rechargeble batteries. 4 of them don't last long.
