Nikon FSA-L2 Fieldscope Digital SLR Camera Attachment Adapter : The Nikon Camera Adapter converts the EDG Fieldscope into a powerful telephoto lens for use with a Nikon DSLR camera. The adapter allows for digiscoping with many of the Nikon coolpix digital cameras when used with a Fieldscope and the fixed magnification MC series eyepieces. An integral 3.5x zoom feature allows the viewer to magnify the scene significantly - with an EDG 85 mm Fieldscope the system tops out at 35x/1750 mm, while the EDG 65mm scope becomes 28x/1400 mm, hence converts Nikon 65/85mm EDG fieldscope into a powerful telephoto lens for digiscoping. The adapter features an accurate optical system with fully multicoated lenses that ensures crisp and brighter images. When assembled, the focusing is done manually on the Fieldscope, while the exposure is set automatically by the camera. Rubberized knurled focusing ring is incorporated for a sure grip and accurate focusing.
