Nissin have developed a new ceramic insulation for the inside of the gun in addition to a distinctive quartz-based flash tube, which makes sure the unit remains cool, even in severe use conditions. When tested, the Nissin Mg8000 can generate over 1000 full flashes devoid of any fear of overheating, which are 3X more than a common flash. The Nissin MG8000 Extreme boasts a recycle time of just 3 seconds for the first 200 shots, and then 5 to 7 seconds for following frames, sustaining its guide number throughout the burst.
