Pentax 50-200mm is a Telephoto Zoom lens designed for exclusive use with PENTAX
KAF-mount_digital_SLR_cameras. Pentax 50-200mm f4-5.6 ED lens offers 4
(x) zoom coverage in the telephoto_range. It features an angle of view from 31.5
° to 8.1 ° (equivalent in focal length 76.5 mm-306 mm in the 35 mm format ). As
embedded with all DA-Series lenses, Pentax 50-200mm lens features a responsive "Quick-Shift Focus System"
for instant switching of the focus mode from auto to manual. Pentax 50-200mm
Lens is combined with a simple design and elimination of an aperture ring, the
new mechanism of operatability is consireably improved.
Beside other features, the new Pentax 50-200mm f4-5.6 ED Zoom lens also
includes an Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass lens and a pair of a-spherical lens elements for
true_to_life image_reproduction and overall size_reduction.
The image circle the lens is particularly designed to perfectly match the 23.5 mm_x_15.7 mm size of the CCD used in
PENTAX digital SLR cameras to optimize camera performance.
