About Pentax Binoculars: All of the binocular products from Pentax are made with the highest quality optics and mechanics. The Pentax 8x36 are superb they feel good look good but most of all are good with excellent sharpness in the field . For close and distance I find them a great binocular and would recommend them . Only thing to pull is the old fashioned carry case for such a modern looking binocular .
