The Expert VMR 8x40 Binocular from Pulsar is a compact and rugged binocular
optimized for first responders and law enforcement personnel. At the core of the
VMR series is an advanced Porro prism design and multicoated optics that
transmit bright, contrast rich images even in low-light conditions. Nitrogen
purged, lightweight carbon housing prevents interior fogging in quick
temperature changes, and integrated flip-up objective covers protect lens
surfaces from sand, dirt, and moisture. These Pulsar Expert VMR 8x40
binoculars are engineered for a comfortable long-duration experience in the
field.
Exterior flat protective filters, fitted in front of the objective lenses,
shield the optics from sand, dust and moisture. The Expert VMR 8x40 has
partially rubberized body, it makes using of the device more comfortable. Pulsar
Expert VMR 8 x 40 optics feature high resolution, multicoated lenses that
assure image clarity, realistic colour rendition and the specially developed
eyepiece provides high definition. The Expert VMR 8 x 40 has an optimum
magnification for mobile field use; its light-gathering power guarantee trouble
free operation both in the daytime and in night. Pulsar Expert VMR 8x40 offers
viewing modes that can be changed by means of two switch-able internal filters.
The Contrast Mode is used in twilight conditions for improved image contrast and
for visual fog reduction. Operation in the Reflection Mode minimizes, or
neutralizes, the dazzling effect of light reflected from non-metallic surfaces
(water, snow, ice and glass).
