Variable magnification Helion models include variable magnification, up to 8x depending on model, and feature both 2x step-up and smooth, graduated magnification for a truly optimum, customized field of view.
Fully waterproof The Helion thermal scopes can be operated in precipitation of any intensity, e.g. heavy shower or snowfall (the units have IPX7 degree of protection according to the IEC 60529).
Display Off When it is necessary to temporarily stop observation the user can apply Display Off function. It provides the necessary level of camouflage (no light from the eyepiece of the device) between observation sessions as well as the fast restart of observation (when display is turned off, all other systems are working; for normal operation it is enough just to power on the display again).
User-friendly interface The Helion is designed with ease-of-operation in mind. User feedback has resulted in the most friendly interface to date, complete with an easy-to-read, icon-driven, alpha-numeric status bar at the bottom of the display. Internal menu items and options are also displayed on a contrasting gradient substrate so you can keep an eye on settings without losing sight of your objective.
External power supply Helion makes charging from external sources, such as power banks, fast and easy with a micro-USB jack. The convenience of power-bank charging even enhances the ability to power up the Helion during extremely cold weather while also protecting the source from rapid discharge.
Effective temperature stabilization of the sensor A radiator panel, located on the device’s body, effectively prevents heat build-up from the sensor and other components while also significantly reducing temperature and noise sensitivity, especially between calibrations.

Wide range of operation temperatures Helion thermal imaging scopes are effective for the use in low temperatures (-25°C) thanks to the frost-resistant AMOLED display employed in the unit (image remains the same as when viewing at positive temperature of the surrounding atmosphere).
