Combining this with the highly sensitive thermal sensor allows the scope to offer astounding detection capabilities; detecting a standard 1.8m tall human or deer shaped object at distances of up to 1350m in daylight or complete darkness - all with a detailed, high contrast image; even in heavy rain or foggy conditions. The base magnification increases fourfold at 2.5x -10.0x, with a zoom which can change either gradually by 2x steps, or continuously, allowing the user to set the ideal magnification ratio and visible field of view to suit any situation.
