Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 Contemporary DG OS HSM Lens is designed for Sigma
SA-mount cameras and brings versatile super telephoto zoom focal lengths in a
compact, weather-resistant package. The lens features an aperture range from
f/5-6.3 to f/22 and utilizes FLD glass and SLD glass elements. It is constructed
with rubber sealing to protect the mount and a water and oil repellent coating
on the front and rear elements.
With the
Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM), the lens offers quick and accurate control over the
artistic effects achieved by the lens high quality elements. The lens works
perfectly with auto focus as well as full time manual cameras without having to
switch camera modes. The lens Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) and floating inner
focusing system ensures quick, quiet and precise auto focusing.
Features One FLD elements and three SLD elements have been incorporated within
the lens design to correct for chromatic aberrations throughout the entire
focusing range and help to ensure high image sharpness and clarity. It is
suitable to use for sorts, landscapes, portraits, arts, group shots and general
use.
The Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens feature manual override (MO) switch that is
incorporated as an option which is activated by rotating the focus ring while
using the autofocus. An updated optical stabilizer features an accelerometer for
improved panning photography both horizontally and vertically. The lens also has
a minimum focusing distance of 110.2" and a rotatable tripod collar. It is
compatible with the Sigma USB dock for firmware updates and focus micro
adjustment.
