Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM Lens For Canon is a lightweight and durable lens for Canon that is designed specially for DSLRs with APS-C sized image sensors. It features a matte black finish, thermally stable composite material in its construction with smaller and lighter design. The ability to shoot from wide angle to telephoto is highly useful particularly for travel photography, landscape photography, street photography, portrait photography and nature photography. This lens features a fast f/3.5-6.3 maximum aperture to help better control your focus plane and to aid in low-light shooting. An enhanced optical stabilizer compensates for camera shake, while an optimized hyper sonic motor ensures quiet, smooth and fast auto focusing that greatly benefits video applications. It features one SLD (Super Low Dispersion) glass element, three aspherical glass elements and a double-sided aspherical lens are integrated into the lens construction that helps to improve overall image quality. This lens features a maximum magnification of 1:3 and a minimum focus distance of 0.39m through the entire range. The anti-coating lens surface reduces the appearance of lens flare and ghosting, which helps to maintain image contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions. A large maximum aperture of f/3.5-6.3 helps with low-light photography and also offers greater control over your focus plane for selective focus shooting.
