Sigma 8mm F3.5 EX DG Circular Fisheye AF Lens For Canon EOS is a high technology fisheye lens in sigma series. Being ultra-wide angle lens, it is used to take extremely wide hemispherical images. It offers high optical performance for highly creative photography of landscapes to suggest the curve of the path, for scientific purposes such as the solid angle measurements of cloud distribution over the sky or for taking beautiful images of ceremonies and sports as well.
Sigma 8mm F3.5 DG Circular Fisheye lens is featured with outer EX-finish that retain extraordinary features of high optical and mechanical design, superior performance, perfect handling and durability. It is one of the DG lens series which demonstrates high optical performance with Digital single lens reflex cameras. Sigma 8mm F/3.5 EX Fisheye Lens is provided with multi-layered lens coatings and special low dispersion (SLD) glass that reduce light loss and result in brighter, high contrast images free of glare and ghost. DG-type is designed in such a way to reduce chromatic aberration to negligible amount and to deliver images with true colour fidelity and high resolution. It produces circular images with an angle of view of 180 degrees when attached to a full frame digital or SLR cameras.
Sigma 8mm F3.5 EX DG Fisheye lens is suitable for outdoor and indoor activities with presentation of high quality, sharp images independent of lighting conditions. Very bright images are observed even in dim light such as dusk or dawn. For precise focusing, Sigma 8mm F3.5 is designed with auto-focus mechanism that can focus images free of blurs or disturbance. It is provided with gelatine filter holder at the rear to allow the use of gelatine filters. The special fisheye lens delivers highly creative expression.
